This is a pretty dainty ring. In terms of sizing, I'd say that pressing the stars together and eliminating the gap makes it about a 6. If you need anything smaller, you would have to put a twist in the ring and have the stars stacked. Sterling silver will oxidation after some time this is a normal process, just use polishing cloth or a polishing lotion or Toothpaste, detergent at home for that nice shine.
